Within the scope of the Disabled Week, May 10-16, a trip was organized by the Barrier-Free University Student Unit Coordination to the Spinal Cord Paralytics Association of Turkey under the coordination of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Büşra SÜNGÜ and Dr. Lecturer Derya AZİM. During the event, students from the Faculty of Sports Sciences and the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation received information about the services provided by the Association, saw service and production workshop areas such as handicrafts, music and sports, and met with individuals with special needs. At the same time, they had the opportunity to experience the problems experienced by individuals with special needs on the road and in transportation in their daily lives by sitting in a wheelchair on the empathy track. We would like to thank the entire team for TOFD's warm and sincere hospitality. We would also like to thank our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ebru Kaya Mutlu and the Balıkesir and Bandırma Municipalities for the organization of the event.
